spatial design
Overview
Roll-out retail store interior design project for cafes. The process involved ideation of design intent across finishes, design elements such as ceiling, selected joinery items, artwork selection and execution, through to design development documentation.
Each store was designed and documented post-receiving the schematic layout with respect to the local demograph and market within a fourteen-day schedule.
The brand name has been concealed for confidentiality.

The Design Team
Each store had a core team of two designers with design review from a senior designer at Gensler.
At its peak, a team of designers who understood the brand ethos and guidelines in depth, split and paired up to work on multiple stores across Korea, Malaysia, India and Australia simultaneously.

Overview of a store in India
As part of the intimate team of designers trained to deliver high quality documents that abided by the Coffee Chain’s standards, I was part of planning the project deliverables, designing, developing and documenting stores across Korea, Malaysia and India.
Communicating and presenting to the client were accompanying tasks.
I served as a supporter, team player, and leader on a few projects as well.
