I'm Sanskriti Sharma, a User Experience and Product Designer who sees design as a way to guide people gently toward understanding, through use rather than instruction.

I’m particularly interested in how design shapes not only what people do, but how they experience and remember it.

How I think

My process begins with questions.

I tend to return to simple “why”s, not as a form of speculation, but as a way of identifying what is essential.
I support this with secondary research, drawing from existing studies, behavioural insights, and patterns across similar problems, so that decisions are grounded rather than assumed.

This approach allows me to design for understanding in use. I aim to create experiences that feel intuitive in motion, where clarity emerges through interaction rather than instruction.

I’m especially drawn to problems where behaviour, emotion, and structure intersect, and where clarity needs to be established, not just refined.

I’m particularly interested in how these decisions shape usability as well as how experiences are understood and remembered over time.

Designing physical spaces required careful consideration of how people move, respond, and orient themselves within an environment. It involved shaping not only function, but also atmosphere; how a space feels, how it is understood, and how naturally it can be navigated.

This way of thinking continues to inform my work in digital contexts, enhanced further by a Master of Design from UNSW, Sydney.

I approach interfaces with a spatial mindset, considering flow, pacing, and the relationships between elements. This allows me to design experiences that feel coherent and navigable, rather than fragmented.
